Teatro alla Scala: Lo sguardo nascosto
See on Map
Exhibitions
February 12 2025 -> September 14 2025
*
Curated by Paola Calvetti and Livia Corbò
Set-up: Margherita Palli Studio
Photographs: Gérard Uféras / Photo Op

The exhibition tells the story of the artists of the La Scala ballet company in an unprecedented way, with photographs that investigate the sense of waiting, of the complicity hidden in a pas de deux, in the relationship with teachers and choreographers. They are images that speak of silences, relationships, and feelings, evoking a sense of intimacy from which the audience is usually distant: the time of creation, but also the time of waiting before entering the stage, or that of a stolen kiss behind the curtain. A silent witness, Gérard Uféras investigates human experience through the daily life of the La Scala ballet company and accompanies the visitor into the “secret” rooms of the rehearsal room, the stage before the show, and behind the scenes of the theatre.

Designed for the halls of Palazzo Reale, the exhibition presents a collection of one hundred significant works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, and graphic works, sourced from prestigious private collections as well as museum institutions. In 2025, there is the celebration of the centenary of the Exposition internationale des arts décoratifs et industriels modernes in Paris, the event that marked the rise of the "1925 Style," or Art Deco, a groundbreaking aesthetic that spread across Europe in the post-war period.

To commemorate this anniversary, the exhibition will present the public with extraordinary examples of Italian and European decorative arts, from glassworks to porcelain and majolica, from textiles to furniture and jewelry, as well as fine art pieces such as paintings, sculptures, drawings, and advertising posters. It will also feature period images and film clips to recreate as closely as possible the unique and captivating atmosphere of this remarkable era.

Pirelli HangarBicocca: Yukinori Yanagi
See on Map
Exhibitions
March 27 2025 -> July 27 2025
*
Pirelli HangarBicocca presents “Icarus”, the first major anthological exhibition in Europe dedicated to the art of Yukinori Yanagi, with a wide selection of key works from the 1990s and 2000s, as well as more recent works. Visitors experience the unpredictable trajectories created by the Japanese artist. Yanagi recontextualizes some of his most significant and monumental installations in the former industrial spaces of Pirelli HangarBicocca, offering insights that are more relevant than ever on issues of nationalism, governance mechanisms, and the paradoxical aspects of contemporary societies.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a monograph published by Marsilio Editori. The volume explores the recurring themes that have shaped Yukinori Yanagi’s career and delves deeper into the influences and evolution of his practice throughout his career. The book also contains, for the first time, an overview of the most ambitious architectural projects realized by the artist between 2008 and today. The works on display is also accompanied by detailed fact sheets written by scholars and enriched with a selection of historical images.

10 Corso Como: Guido Guidi

Exhibitions
May 07 2025 -> July 27 2025
*
10 Corso Como presents Da un’altra parte (“Elsewhere”), a solo exhibition by Guido Guidi, curated by Alessandro Rabottini and staged at 10 Corso Como Gallery. Conceived as a wide-ranging showcase for his photographic work, the exhibition concentrates on the theme of the shadow, interpreted as the result of the encounter between light, space, and time, i.e., between three of the main coordinates of Guidi’s practice.

Curated by Alessandro Rabottini, Da un’altra parte compiles a wide selection of photographs taken between the early 1970s and 2023, in an exhibition that focuses on the persistence and recurrence of certain themes across the decades. Although Guidi conceives, publishes, and shows his work through the format of the photographic series. The works are placed in dialogue with each other, according to a principle of poetic and formal tension, over and above the chronological sequence and any separation between the genres of portraiture, still life, and architectural photography.

24th International Exhibition | Inequalities

Exhibitions
May 13 2025 -> November 09 2025
*
After tackling the themes of sustainability with Broken Nature (2019) and the mysteries of the universe with Unknown Unknowns (2022), the 24th International Exposition closes this trilogy by focusing reflection on the human dimension and addressing an urgent and political issue such as the growing inequalities that characterize cities and the contemporary world. Inequalities is a collective project that, through exhibitions, installations, special projects and events, questions the global challenges related to the differences present in various spheres of existence: from economic to ethnic, from geographic origin to gender.
The 24th International Exhibition also includes a section devoted to international participations, solicited under the auspices of the BIE - Bureau International des Expositions.

Exhibitions
May 21 2025 -> December 28 2025

Presented for the first time in 2005 in Paris, the capital of haute couture, the Giorgio Armani Privé collection immediately emerged as a new expression of Armani style, both complementary to and distinct from prêt-à-porter, yet unified by the pursuit of a linear, elegant, and refined signature style. This exhibition brings Giorgio Armani Privé to Milan, the beating heart of the Armani universe, offering a chance to admire these creations up close and appreciate their exquisite craftsmanship. The collection stems from a vision of modern creativity, expressed in refined lines, precious materials and techniques, and jewel-like embroidery created by skilled hands. With haute couture, Giorgio Armani allows himself to experiment and imagine freely yet never loses touch with reality, offering a surprising perspective on his style. He embraces new adventures, drawing on faraway places and atmospheres, crafting a serene and seductive allure, in a tale told in the present. Because, when they are authentic, fashion creations are timeless.
